That was my reaction too —- only seven years?? Totally agree that it should be much more than that. It’s not like he didn’t know what he was doing or was trapped or misled. He knew exactly what he was doing!
I agree with above comments, 7 years for betraying Americans is not enough. He needs to be punished severely and made an example of what not to do to your fellow Americans. What kind of punishment is 7 years? What kind of damage has he brought on our military and this nation? His interview of loving to help people is very interesting, help the enemy and hurt your country!?!

I agree 7 years is not very much for what he did! He has put the United States in jeopardy along with other countries like Taiwan & Ukraine.
We executed the Rosenberg’s back in the 50’s for giving military secrets to Russia!
Seven years is far too long. He should have been tried for treason and executed in quick order. Firing squad or public hanging would send a strong message to any others who are still trying to trade sensitive documents.
