From The Daily BeastCNN pundit Scott Jennings and Olympian Caitlyn Jenner—both stalwart supporters of President Donald Trump—are stuck in Israel as the country exchanges airstrikes with Iran.

The Israeli government shut down the country’s main airport, Ben Gurion, in Tel Aviv on Thursday after launching what it described as a “preemptive” air strike on Iran, killing several military commanders.

“Don’t think I am getting out of Israel today!” Jennings wrote on X Friday Morning. “But will continue to report on what I see and hear.”

Jennings later posted a Daily Mail article [to X] reporting that both he and MAGA diehard Caitlyn Jenner had been marooned in Israel, joking, “This headline is an all-time mad lib.”

“Definitely not getting out today. Lol,” Jennings said in messages to the Daily Mail on Friday.”From my hotel balcony I watched jets streaming over head headed west to east.”

Jennings was staying in Tiberius, along the Sea of Galilee.Although he didn’t think he was in danger at first, he said, ‘”The most tense time was waiting for the Iranian response.”

Jennings was later taken to a safe room in Jerusalem during a retaliatory strike, noting that “the locals take it all in stride.”

“Israel expertly carried out an attack on the enemies of Western Civilization, and I’m glad I had a front row seat,” he said. “This place is very secure.”

Earlier in the week, Jennings had declared in X post, “Already, what l’ve seen has been incredibly moving as a Christian and as adefender of the Jewish people and the Nation of Israel.”

Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner was visiting Israel, too. The 75-year-old transgender athlete had plans to be at Tel Aviv’s Pride Parade, but it was cancelled over security concerns after the air strikes. Jenner spoke to an Israeli news station Friday, saying that in a conversation with daughter Kylie, Jenner had promised, “I’ll keep myself safe, and they’ll take care of me.”

In an Instagram post, Jenner had declared, “My heart is with Israel now and forever. Evil shall not prevail!”

He said it was his first visit to the country, and also his “first potential nuclear war rodeo.”
