  1. A four year degree is worth the cost if the student is following a specific path and knows what he or she wants to do. A liberal arts or psychology degree is not worth the paper it’s printed on! A degree in the STEM fields has a better chance of leading to a career if one excels in those areas. Otherwise, the trades are an excellent path to career success and those who choose that path are in very high demand and can be high earners and enjoy a great lifestyle.
