“NEVER!” And I mean “NEVER!” Buy a home in any community that has an HOA. It’s just another governing arm for power hungry people to push their weight around over others. It is a micro communist governing body that takes position of your private property and tells you how to live your life under their perceived ideas. The more you try to live with them the more they infiltrate your privacy.
