For me personally, prices are still going up and my income is not. We are most definitely better with Trump in office and some things are less expensive, but insurance companies and utility companies are raising their rates, by quite a bit. Property taxes keep going up too. I’m running out of things to cut out and am trying to figure out how to take on a second job while still being there for my kids. We’re having to turn our heat down more this winter and I’ve unfortunately been stuck having to use high interest rate credit cards to get by some months. We all need dental visits I can’t afford and I have health issues I need to take care of but can’t. I feel like I’m drowning.
This is not an “I” but will certainly eviscerate our economy is the removal of nursing as “professional” license. Effective July 1, 2026 nursing will no longer be considered a professional license. Just like that! Based on student loan debt, they’ll only be recognizing “medical licenses as professional. This move will terminate the standing of all nursing licenses effective July 1, 2026. THIS WILL EVISCERIRATE 100’s OF THOUSANDS of working nurses, NP, FNP, FNP, and FNP-C! So no more services performed by these highly qualified, highly professional providers will be able to continue to serve 100’s OF MILLIONS OF PATIENTS!!! Now that is a conversation we should all as American 🇺🇸 we should be terrified of!! (Please! Look it up… fast)
