Congress should suffer along with the rest of us. I think both proposals are excellent. I do not want the Republicans to cave to the left. Stay strong and united. No free medical to illegals EVER!!
If Congress opposes the first Bill the Republicans in the Senate need to use the Nyclear Option and pass the CLEAN CR! Might as well since the DemoncRATs will use it the minute they control the Senate again. WE are naive to believe they won’t. If WE are afraid to use it, the Conservative Voters must go to the Polls in off year elections and vote. The result of not voting is what happened in VIRGINIA and possibly New Jersey this past Tuesday.

It should be a given, if they vote no to opening the government, then they are not paid. They must back their stand

I believe both Congress and senate should have their pay withheld when there is a shutdown their backpay should be donated automatically when there is a shutdown,. Also, any Buddy that wins their office during a shutdown should not be allowed to be seated in their new position until the shutdown ends
