This always makes me angry when the shut down happens because it is the “people”. I think the law needs to be changed that if Congress votes to shut it down then they and their paid staff do don’t get a paycheck first. We pay them to uphold the law and to represent us. This is poor representation. Why should it go against people who need help with food? Why should it go against our military families? Get back to work and do your job!!
Take their jobs and pay from them all! If it were a citizen and you didn’t do your job you’d be fired! Simple! They work for the American people not the damn illegals!
