As I listen to all the reports, I am so thankful that president Trump is our president! it was the last testimonial, I guess you could call it, from Alicia. The mom who almost lost her son. She spoke for all of us moms and grandmas and fathers and grandfathers.
She said so much that resonated with all of us who are older than she is. I’m 80 right now. And I remember when we could play Anywhere in our neighborhood. I lived in Minnesota, actually I lived near Franklin Avenue. It wasn’t a wealthy area. But we were safe to play Outside. We could play Hopscotch on the sidewalks, and nobody minded, we were polite when people came by, we moved aside. And let grown-ups pass by, we smiled. We said hi. I could walk 5 – 6 blocks to the library. We could walk a mile or so to our church. But do you know what my biggest memory is? And I’m glad it’s not so now. But my biggest memory was when I was in, I think fourth grade and my friend – My best friend was a little black girl. And we met at a certain corner and walk the three or four blocks to school. And then on the way home we would walk to that same spot and then we would part. I asked her, why? And she answered that I was white, and she was black, and I said, but that doesn’t matter, she said, yes, my brother would beat me and he would probably come after you. That was my first realization of the tragic divide. I remember thinking how unfair it was. I remember wishing there was something I could do. But at that time, I was what maybe 9 years old going on 10. Anyway, I am so glad and so thankful hope that she & Her family are safe now. And I just pray that this transition keeps going that the Democrats that would not win. It’s much safer for all of us – Because of their insistence on all the c*** that they want that seems so ridiculous to the majority of us. Thank you Pres.Trump and I pray for you, and for all your administration. God Almighty bless you!
