I live in Chicago and have for over 50 years. My husband was a Chicago police officer for 33yrs! My son is a firefighter! You don’t see half of what this city has turned into on the news! The mayor isn’t hiring more police and he is not allowing overtime for police! He is delusional along with our Illinois Governor! Our mayor does not believe in incarceration, he is ignoring illegals committing crimes and refers to them as undocumented! Our firefighters finally after almost 5 years have a signed contract! He is very racist towards our white citizens and is hoping for reparations for blacks. No one with a brain wants to be downtown because of crime. It is a shame!
