I believe Vivek is absolutely correct! I have lineage to Patrick Henry, uncle. But that’s not what makes me an American. My belief that All Men are created equal, one can succeed through hard work and dedication, and that the US is One Nation Under GOD, among other reasons makes me An American. I pray everyday that GOD helps OPT and all in his administration to turn this Country around toward HIM and away from Satan’s pull toward Socialism/Communist.

He is right , just because you can trace your ancestors back to 300 yrs doesnt make you any more American then those who only go back 100 yrs or 40 yrs.
My Ancestry goes back to the 1600’s on both sides of my family, Great, Great Grandfather was a Colonel in the Revolutionary War! But a true American is one that has came here, through the ages, that has Assimilated, been Allegiant, like the many immigrants of the early 1900’s, they came asking for nothing. Only gave their blood, sweat and tears to help build this Nation. These Immigrants stood the test of time, fought in WWI and WWII.
Most of these immigrants today are here for a handout, taking what they can from the American Tax Payers! Big difference from where these people came from. The Immigrants in the early 1900’s came from Europe. These days these people are coming from 3rd World Countries, offering the United States of America nothing!
