From the Washington Examiner: President Donald Trump revealed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked him for more weapons during their meeting in the Vatican before Pope Francis’s funeral.
“He [Zelensky] told me that he needs more weapons, but he’s been saying that for three years. He needs more weapons and we’re going to see what happens. I want to see what happens with respect to Russia,” Trump told reporters on Sunday night.
Trump added that he is “very disappointed” with Russia, particularly its recent drone attacks on Ukraine that were launched hours after his meeting with Zelensky. Six regions of Ukraine recorded damage from the strikes.

A reporter asked President Trump, “What do you want Vladimir Putin to do?”
Trump replied, “Well, I want him to stop shooting, sit down and sign a deal. We have the confines of a deal, I believe. And I want him to sign it and be done with it, and just go back to life.”
