I’m all the reports it’s not about the people destroying the property. Instead it’s about the person who abandoned it. And hasn’t paid the taxes..
I have seen plenty of abandoned buildings that havent been destroyed by selfish people wanting to tags someone elses property.

Can you imagine what the inside looks like and smells like.. I know what I would do with it. The owner must be a billionaire if he/she has more houses in california. Just who pays the bills. Turn off the water, electric and HVAC. Disable all of it. Maybe they will leave. I cannot imagine the stench in that place. It would need to be gutted.

I agree. Why do these squatters have any rights at all. So the owner has no money to pay the taxes on the place. I guess he acquired it when parents passed away and now is stuck with the mess with no money to fix it or pay taxes. It would probably be a gut job now since the cockroaches have taken over. I disagree with eminent domain BUT… in this case the city should come in and demolish this property, before it gets violent.( and it will)
