Trump has never needed an entry level job in his life, and he has no idea what it’s like to live on an entry level job. I’m not sure he is aware of how catastrophic it will be. His complete lack of awareness terrifies me.
The USA has systematically let these people believe manual labor is beneath them. I’ve been cursed out by Trump supporters who say, “Nobody wants to do those jobs…just let the illegals have them.” When AI takes all these entry level jobs….manual labor will be there, but it will take these people going hungry a while before they will “stoop” to that level. I’ve always done manual labor….so, I always knew it wasn’t beneath me.
I am with you, K80. What in hell is he thinking?! He always wants to be the biggest & the best. When his ego takes over, same in his first term, he loses all common sense. Plus, I thought someone on staff was feeding him some of DML’s knowledge…..apparently not. Or perhaps he is just ignoring it.
Much as I like President Trump, I believe he is wrong on this. Many people are going to be hurt by AI.
