I bet that amount increases tenfold in California. It’s just unfair to legal citizens who have insurance. In California you get fined for not having insurance. Yet illegals get away with it. This goes for car insurance too. So many legal citizens barely make it every month and illegals get everything free. Legal citizens foot the bill. Illegals get free housing, medical, car insurance, etc… WE SHOULD BE PISSED!!!

You are mostly correct about how much CA taxpayers pay for illegals’ health care. Last year (or 2024?) reported it was $9 billion. This year, it’s anticipated to cost $12 billion.
Meanwhile I have friends who don’t go seek medical care because they can’t afford it but aren’t eligible for MediCal. It’s disgusting.

Add in Obamacare supplements and other states hospitals debt for illegals – a financial burden that shouldn’t even exist.
But they are good for our economy. Wtf ever.
