  1. I have traveled with my family from the 1960s until I came back in 1974 always had assigned seating. Went to Hawaii and Oregan in 2004 and 2007 . Still had assigned seating

  2. Does this mean because I walk with a cane for medical condition I have to pay more for extra leg room due to my cane? I haven’t flown anywhere in years and probably won’t , just curious how it works. Is open seating like first come first served? Is it a free for all? Never heard of that before!
