So if the hospital staff removes the bed and all other items in the room and she doesn’t get meals leaves it just an empty room don’t you think then she would leave?
I would leave if they did that to me. But then they wouldn’t have to go that far with me. I would have left the day I was discharged like most decent people.
Stop feeding her , stop giving her any medication, stop giving her clean linens, stop giving her “free” personal hygiene items, stop answering her call lights and disconnect hospital phones for a few things ! And stop allowing visitors to enter her room! Post a security guard outside her door if necessary to prevent people from entering with food or whatever ! Also don’t allow her to exit the room to get water or ice
In other words lock her room and her off ! Without food, water or ice In, and clean linens she will soon leave the premises

Someone out there should make sure hospital administration doesn’t get away with billing Medicaid for five months of room occupation.
That medical bill should be strictly put on the squatter not Medicaid or Medicare

Can’t you shut off the tv and phone just to that room? This is insane. Can’t you get the court to place a mental health hold, stick her in a straight jacket then off to the mental facility. She should have to pay the bill herself. You can take down the privacy curtains too. If she can’t watch tv or talk on the phone or charge her own phone that will get old fast.
Well if she is crazy. Transfer her to a mental hospital where they WONT LET HER LEAVE. Because what she is doing is not normal behavior, she might endanger other patients when craziness goes over the top and she goes on a rampage. Send her to a mental hospital and watch her run for the hills. Like the one who flew over the CooCoo’s nest.
