  1. I know this should have been handled differently. But I can understand her motivation. The problem I have is they are concerned about the “trauma” the bully has. What about the REAL Trauma the bully caused the Autistic boy?

  2. Who does that to a child?! I can understand wanting the child to apologize but what she did was very inappropriate and criminal. Why not approach the parents of the alleged bully? If that fails, approach law enforcement. She may end up with her child being taken away. She should have notified the authorities.

    • Sometimes neither one of those things work, but yes they should have been tried first. One thing is that boy learned a valuable lesson. He now knows how it feels.

  3. Why not teach your son to take up for himself. Knock the shit out of the Bully and he will think twice before doing it again. And the kid who stood up to the bully will have a better self esteem. I can hear the liberals now Violence is never the answer .

    • I guess you missed the part about the kid who was being bullied was autistic and teaching him self defense was probably way down the list of things they hoped their son could learn?

    • Dude, seriously?? The kid is Autistic!! How about you do some research to see what autism entails! Don’t make stupid statements like that!!

  4. This is how I grew up. Kids in the neighborhood were parented by the moms. If you did something then a “mom” got ahold of you. That wasn’t considered kidnapping it was considered parenting.
She returned the kid. I have a little mix feelings on this one and we don’t have the whole story. I’m curious how old the boy is.

  5. Hopefully this had previously been addressed with the parents and the school. If so, and they did nothing to stop the problem, (which is usually the case) then what would be another alternative? SOmetimes you just get to the point of being a vigilante

  6. This one bullying happened in the past at school. I called the school to get information about the bully parents. The school said no that students have rights??? Shortly after that. In the papers that a teenager was bullying a you get boy at the baseball game. The younger boy took out his bat and swing the bat at his head. I think the teenager died. It went to court. The bully parents said he was that the teenager was a good kid, but the school and other came forward and said the teenager was a bully. Parents were absolutely shocked expression and all! Does surprise me one bot
