I’ve had an illegal maggot on my back for over 25 years. Found out around 2005 when I refinanced my house for a lower interest rate. Thru an identity theft company, I found out the maggot’s address. Contacted every 3 letter agency I could think of plus the county sheriff who were the sole responders. I got a call saying a detective wanted to talk to me, and I eagerly said sure! And when he arrived, I was told that I was the one being investigated!!! 🤬 He wanted to know why I had an alias and multiple SS#s. I was too stunned to be angry although that quickly changed. I found out that if the maggot committed a crime, the cops would be knocking on MY door!! Have loathed these maggots ever since. And yes, the maggot is still attached.
This happens more than people realize. It’s heartbreaking for the victims. These “maggots” buy DL’s when they arrive so they can get a job. From there they are able to SSN and the victims don’t know anything is wrong until things like the above happen. There was one “maggot” that got someone’s DL and got arrested for DUI. Turns out the DL he bought belonged to someone wanted for murder in another state. He changed his story quick. Too bad they don’t all end that way. I hope the IRS gives that guy all his money back (doubtful). Anyone can be a victim to this scam. The Feds need to be more diligent and believe the victims, especially if it’s out of character for his whole life. I hope he was deported. They should post his mug shot everywhere as a warning to those who want to do the same. I dread to think how many SSN of those that have died are being used for the same purpose.
