I could be wrong, but my guess is that these prisoners converted to Islam when imprisoned. They have thus been rehabilitated, and should not repeat teir offenses when released. Christians praise prisoners who convert while in prison, why isn’t the same grace given to Muslim converts?
I think there is a huge issue in our jails that Muslim is the one religion on the rise.. I’ve noticed it for years.
