Presumably, injuries from being violently slammed into MRI machine. Since it was a necklace, I’d imagine he sustained severe head and upper body injuries. MRI’s are incredibly, unbelievably powerful magnets.
Being that the machine was in operations that means someone was in the machine, I can’t imagine what they went through. I assume he like strangled to death or had some type of neck injury
As a former MRI tech, this whole story brings about more questions than answers. How in the world did a man with a “large chain around his neck” get sucked into an MRI scanner? How did he manage to get into a “secured” (MRI doors are supposed to be secured)
I am quite curious as to what actually killed him- did he have head trauma? a heart attack?, slice an artery? break his neck? Quite frankly I’m baffled!!

Why would they let him get into the machine with jewelry on??? I know when I had an MRI in the past I had to remove all my jewelry beforehand!!!
