Israel has always seen Christians as an annoying pest in their holy land. I do believe as they expand their territory, they are increasing their vigilance in expelling and styming Christianity in their country.
I think people need to hold there pants on, an think a little bit it’s more for security reasons than any thing ales SO PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH, it’s very obvious since the war in Iran
Nick above makes a good point. The Catholic priests maybe could have gotten permission first for their small group before going to the site. This might have alleviated the controversy altogether. Or maybe that’s what they wanted🤔
