  1. I personally doubt ANY withdrawal plans were the brainchild of a career Army general…the whole operation including leaving behind millions and millions of dollars worth of equipment including planes reeks of DC civilian politicians and their lack of experience in that realm. If this General had refused he would have been court-martialed and demoted/kicked out of the service.

This was done very early after Biden’s Administration came into power and I’m sure no one NO ONE could have foreseen the devastation across the board America was about to suffer under these serial incompetents. It’s possible that in order to bring out this entire horrific operation into the public eye, the Senate will go after the top guy in order to hear his testimony about where/what his exact orders from DC were. I hope.

  2. Time to find out what exactly happened, who gave the order and who was behind the whole thing. Probably not his fault he was just following orders but will be a good time to really find out why it was done and who really was behind the whole process!

  3. I agree with all the comments above. We’re talking about the military here. They follow orders or are court martialled. I’m sure this career Army soldier hated his orders, but was duty bound to obey them. No way in hell should he be punished for the orders given by a completely incompetent President and VP. This isn’t right, and I doubt it’s being done at Trump’s behest

  4. I agree JB! Let’s get the whole story(s) before anymore promotions. Not just Afghanistan, but the military as a whole. Then clean house, reorganize and carry on with the legitimate soldiers! That being said, I’m all in for the military. Those men and women do one helluva job. IMHO, this is the only way to get to the head of the snake. Just my 2 cents.

    • Very well stated Willieweep. I agree with the others also. We need the full story and this is not it. Soldiers must follow orders, otherwise they are thrown in the brig and face court-martial for disobeying orders. Their career would be history with a dishonorable discharge.
