😳 I’ve done that with my dishwasher. Guess I won’t be doing that again.
Electric companies are encouraging us to use power during non peak hours in order to save on electric bills. I have started using the delay setting to run my dishwasher while I sleep. I also have used my washer and dryer at bedtime. Guess we have to take the risk to attempt to control costs.
There has to be reason it burst into flames… it’s not because it ran at night… so why did it?
A switch shorting? Happened to me one evening. Heard a pop and could smell the ‘electric’ smoke…. Quickly opened the door and turned off breaker.
