It’s shocking that there is any perceived ambiguity with the 14th amendment. It was clearly enacted to protect slaves who were not born in US from being deported. There is no evidence that anyone else was meant to be included. How can any supposed scholar of Constitutional law could decipher it any other way is inconceivable.
It’s not just the issue of birthright citizenship. Chain migration should be looked at too.
