I’m not sure who really would vote no, to sending criminals back to El Salvador if they came here illegally from El Salvador. The only reason I can think of it is if they were sent to Guantánamo Bay, but then the taxpayers from the United States would still have to support them. So for me, it’s a big yes! Send them back to El Salvador.

Yes, hell yes. Can’t do it quick enough. Send them to their new homes with bars, a 2-foot-wide wash basin and a round bowl toilet. They get to share showers and have an assigned time.. Just don’t bring soap-on-a-rope, but have a 10-pound jar of petroleum jelly handly.

It is about time our system puts fear into criminals. Right now they know they are going to be treated well . Plus our prison system is full of corruption. I’d love to see it however the lawsuits would mound up and the advocates plus Dems and the media would put a stop to it
We’ve already seen how Biden or whoever was president weaponized our justice system against conservatives (J6ers). What makes us think they wouldn’t do the same after some well-meaning conservative president is able to send US citizen criminals to some foreign prison?
Maybe I’m misunderstanding the question? It say U.S. criminals which would mean our sons and daughters etc. The people being deported are not U.S. citizens
American criminals have one thing to look forward to, visits from loved ones. I think it also helps the loved ones to see them. I wish we could find ways to rehabilitate.
I agree with this. That was my first thought. Those being deported are not Americans. The families would not have access to our sons and daughters. I have a friend that being able to see her son was helpful to her and to him. When he came out of jail he lived differently.

I would never support sending US citizens to another country to be imprisoned. That would be an 8th amendment violation. It also would be a slippery slope for others. We have prisons in this country and are always building more so why even consider such an atrocious idea. Trump is wanting to do this because of money. It’s time to consider people instead of money! Illegal individuals can be sent to their countries of origin, but for our citizens, this their country of origin, where they have families and other connections. Trump needs to forget this stupidity!
