That would be 16 years, possibly, of DeSantis’ running the State. Could be a good thing.
I feel like Desantis is a great governor but has messed up his chances with bad timing and not supporting President Trump more fully. Instead of working with the current and large support for Trump he has gone against it. If he had waited to run for president until 2028 and had just focused on Florida and supporting the current administration, he would have had much better chance in 2028. Now, he is again working behind the scenes against Trump to get his wife elected governor of Florida. Maybe she’d be a good governor, I don’t know. I don’t live in Florida and am not very familiar with her, but I don’t see going against Trump on this as a winning strategy. This is Trump era and Desantis should just get on the Trump train and wait instead of trying to fight for the limelight now.
I would vote for what is best for Florida and that is Casey all the way! She would do a fantastic job.
I don’t live in Florida but I think Casey would be the better choice! DeSantis has done a great job as governor and Casey would be a great continuation of his legacy! I’m a Trump supporter all the way, but I think he got this one wrong!!
It’s a tough decision for me. Casey would come in day one and continue keeping Florida safe and protected while Byron will need time to catch up. Byron has certainly proven himself and is tough and won’t back down. Tough call. Think I’d have to go with Casey to continue the proven fight for Floridians. Donald’s next time. Ugh, tough choice.
