    • I agree with you SZ. I read that that provision has to be made a separate Bill. Let’s hope they get on the stick on that one.

  1. No taxes on Social Security. Also able bodied people must work to get Medicaid EBT SNAP etc to begin immediately.

  2. The work for Medicaid I question as it will put many people over the income limit ( not by a lot) and then they’ll be expected to pay full insurance when they can’t afford it. There needs to be a sliding fee or transitional zone.

  3. I wish it had everything we want. Like bigger spending cuts and no tax on SS, but it’s a win for President Trump and We The People. President Trump can fight for those again next time. To get the $ waste out of Washington and kick out illegals, I’d gladly sacrifice a little. Sure, I’d love to see No tax on SS. But, those already living solely on SS normally don’t fall within the tax table and don’t pay taxes on their income. For those that subsidize their SS May only pay on part of their SS. Only those earning an higher amount of $ while collecting SS pay taxes on SS.
So, do I wish there was no tax on Social Security altogether, absolutely. But at this point, it’s a win and we need to move forward and fight for that in the future.

  4. Hoping they create and pass a separate Bill to exempt SS $ from all tax. But the deduction change is welcome for now.
I trust DJT and team in what they do. Nothing is ever perfect

  5. No tax on SSI was supposed to be included. As usual, screw the seniors cause they won’t be around as long.

  6. SS tax is just way too much for those greedy bastards to lose. Who in their right mind thought they would agree to that? And temporary items are just that, temporary! We live under the empire of lies and have for a very long time! Our government and that includes local are just a bunch of extortionists being run similarly to the mob, just using a different name.

  7. Number 1, able bodied people shouldn’t be on Medicaid to begin with. They should be on Obamacare.
Biden years ago voted in the tax on Social Security, maybe it can still be eliminated going forward.
Everything can’t be fixed at once, given how screwed up things are at this time.
The money DOGE is money not being spent.

  8. No taxes on Social Security. I got screwed by the Windfall Elimination Provison when I retired from teaching. Now that that’s fixed, screwed again.😟

  9. I’m a senior and I would want both no tax on social security, we paid taxes already when they took the amount out of our paychecks, and also the $4000.00 off under $75,000.00 for a single person. Time to step up and fix this once and for all for seniors. đŸ‡șđŸ‡žâ€ïžđŸ™đŸ»

  10. While happy that the Trump team got a legislative win, I am disappointed that the “BBB” does not help senior citizens. I hope some of the eliminated or amended provisions of the bill can be restored as it moves forward – like NO TAX on Social Security!

  11. I agree with the no tax on SS, I was disappointed! He said he was going to stop the tax I feel we are taxed to death & in bondage!! Temporary is also not good.

  12. I voted “yes” but I m disappointed that the tax exemption on SS did not make it. Seniors who have worked hard all their lives and paid into the system should not be penalized by paying taxes on SS. I am delighted to see “no tax on tips and overtime “. Able bodied people under age 65 have no business getting Medicaid! They are only required to work OR volunteer 40 hours per MONTH to be eligible!! That’s more than fair to me! That’s 10 hours a week! 2 hours a day!! If you’re able bodied and under 65 , you should be ashamed of yourself for taking Medicaid and not doing some sort of work or volunteerism!
