Not sure why Disney thinks they need to re-make the classics on a WOKE fashion. Why not leave well enough alone? However, if you’ve been to Disneyland lately…..it’s drastically changed from Walt Disney’s original plans for the park designated to “IMAGINATION!” It’s the most horrendously expensive place on earth! Sadly, English is the second language and the good old standards of pure and childlike innocence is long gone! It’s morally and ethically bankrupt!
Sad to say…..there’s very little of the true essence of Disney, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, or Dumbo. If $35 dollars for a Mickey Mouse hat is OK with you….that just follows the $58 each for lunch at a regular in house restaurant!
I remember when I was a kid and Disney movies would come out in tv.
It was exciting. Now I get a disgusting feeling when ever I hear something is a Disney movie. Even before I know much about the movie my first response is always ” Great Disney is going to ruin that movie as well”! I hate that I feel that way. I know I’m not alone and wonder when will Disney wake up and stop trying to make identity statements and go back to making movies people get excited about?!

disney has been on my shit list for quite some time. They opened the Magic Kingdom in 1971 in Orlando and my husband and I went the first year and for 25 years thereafter at least twice a year. We would plan a 7-day trip and golf 4 days and go to the theme parks the other days. No one had their phones in their faces, and the admission fees were not bad. Now I would not go near a disney park. When they tried to get out of paying their fair share for taxes along with other issues, we stopped going. 25 years was enough for me. Ron DeSantis fixed that and I am happy about that. Still, I have no desire to return to the parks. You have to check in for your rides now so that means you need to keep your phone in your face. No thank you.
I like having original movies. 101 Dalmatians, Beauty and the Beast, A Bug’s Life, Shrek,
Kungfu Panda, Ice Age, The Polar Express, the Jungle Book, Toy Story, Cars, and list goes on.
Stopped Disney years ago even though my daughter was very young. I wasn’t going to have her watching their crap. We have never taken her to Disney Land and have vacationed elsewhere. She hasn’t missed it at all.
I haven’t been in years sadly. They ruined it!! I grew up going to Disneyland when I moved here in 1963 as a child since I grew up nearby. I will NEVER EVER return 😢. So sad that they destroyed it.
I watch some. Despicable Me was my latest watch. If there are reports of “nonsense” on a Disney movie, I just skip it all together.
My final thoughts…why can’t Disney create new characters for minorities, black, Hispanic, Asian, Lgbt etc. Why do they have to change a Disney classic into something it’s not? Snow White happens to be my FAVORITE Disney classic, and I am greatly disappointed in the change and will not watch…and I am Hispanic!
