Lowering the price for drugs that many people want and or need to take is a good thing, as with ALL drugs m, they should be prescribed WITH a disclaimer on the potential side effects. People need to be responsible for their choices !
No, no, and no! People need to start eating the right food: meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, plain yogurt, nuts, avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, plain kefir, beef tallow, real butter; and problem solved!
Giving medications to people who keep eating sugar and consuming alcohol won’t help. That is a fatty liver, inflammation, cancer and diabetes guaranteed! 💀
Exactly right!
OSTFU!!!!!! You holistic idiots make me sick!!!!
You probably have high triglycerides, shame on you!
No. Not ever….people need to force themselves to eat appropriately. It’s called being and adult and teaching your children food is not scary to try….seriously. NO
I don’t agree. There have been too many side effects. Bad side effects. The ones that are shots the person gives herself. Most are for medical reasons not a diet med. it gives people false hope, thinking you can take it and eat whatever you want and lose weight. Proven it doesn’t work like the farmer melts off. You still have to watch intake.
Too many other drugs need the prices cut drastically. These obesity drugs aren’t essential
Absolutely
Big yes on the deal. Lowering the cost of any drug is good. During the weight loss the process the patient will start to eat less and eat what’s good for them. After the goal is met, they need to eat what they were eating while losing weight. Otherwise they wasted their time. Because without the drug patients will gain weight back if they go back to eating like they did prior to the drug.
Of course. The original medical use for diabetics is great. The secondary use for weight loss is great for those with morbid obesity. I don’t agree with the cosmetic use of it versus actual holistic dietary programs for weight loss and dietary reeducation. Either way dietary reeducation is a must from the health providers in conjunction with the prescription. I remember the days of the phen-phen diet pills. Worked great for fast weight loss but had terrible side effects that took it off the market. I am skeptical that these new drugs will produce such devastating side effects.
The problem is that the food industry is purposely putting profits over nutrition. The cost of good food is very high. And the availability of good food is difficult in many areas. And there are people that need these drugs, and there are people who abuse these drugs. Also there are unpleasant side affects from these drugs, not to mention the long term affects are not fully known.
However it is good any time the drug companies can be convinced to lower their prices. I wonder what Trump had to give them.
The best prescription for weight loss and diabetes is diet! Cut out processed foods, soda and junk. Plenty of exercise! These People will see a big difference!
I’m not in favor of any drug. There are people that do need them. This will give them the ability to get what they need at a lower price. These drugs are used for obesity and there are many people in this country that really need help controlling what they eat and their weight. These are temporary fixes people need to know how to eat and hopefully this will help them. The problem is there are people that once they are on these and they see the results they take it to the next level And there are dangerous side effects with these drugs. But that’s with any drug.
