As a Californian, I DO BLAME REAGAN as Governor who unleashed & allowed millions of Mexican immigrants into the state, definitely changing & making life & neighborhoods to DECLINE, never to be the same? That doesn’t count taxpayer support that had to be spent on the immigrants?
Amnesty should never be used as a tool in immigration. It does nothing but invite more! That is what these people have to been counting on for decades. Seeing the protest, the Foreign Country’s Flag been waved, these People’s action as a whole it is very obvious that they are not Allegiant to the United States, nor do they want to Assimilate to the ways of the United States, same goes with the Refugees that have came to the United States.
If anyone cannot see the Destruction upon the United States coming from several directions, from Illegal immigration, Refugees, the Muslim Community, and the Liberals that support all of this. They are totally blind and deaf to what’s going on in the United States.
A Country’s sovereignty, roots, founding, our heritage is all at stake. The UK and Germany is prime examples of what is going on.
Reagan did a few horribly memorable screw ups. I’m really not a fan at all. His screw up affected me! I voted for Bill Clinton because of him…I saw the error of my ways, but dang. The man was far from a saint.
In theory no. He had the perimeters in place and they were not fully implemented. However it was the beginning of this terrible spiral. Somewhere down the line the left latched on and executed the true downfall of California. Reagan was not perfect but he did more right than wrong. It was a different time as well. Now, today, this moment, these actions by the rioters is unacceptable and un-American. If you’re caught and illegal you should NEVER be allowed back to this country. If you’re a citizen, you need jail time.
A big mistake no matter who it was, we do not need these leeches in our republic. MOST cannot be trusted in today’s world, years ago they came to WORK and CONTRIBUTE to our republic. Thanks to our corrupt politicians look where we are today.
Reagan may have given amnesty to all those back then, but it was what had to be done at the time. They have to give and take to get some bills passed . It’s not a perfect system, but it’s better than most!
I put the blame on Biden and the dems. They are the ones that want to change the demographics so they have more voters. The open border policy is what has started all this crap. Anyone who still votes democrat is a traitor to the USA! PERIOD!!
I have lived in Calif 58 years. All of you who voted “No” are very ill informed. California already had a large illegal alien population but they for the most part lived in the shadows. Once Reagan signed that idiotic amnesty law, millions of illegals from mexico and el salvador flooded through the border as “got aways”. They were able to lie and say they were here for the specified time making them eligible for Reagan’s amnesty. Most of these illegals came to California as their relatives were already settled here.
Once they became permanent residents via amnesty, they chain migrated more to California. They eventually became citizens and they had millions of anchor babies. All were beholden to the Democrat Party. That vast sea of humanity now able to vote, turned California uspide down and transformed into the same shit hole they claim to escape from.
If Reagan did not pass amnesty, routine interior enforcement by INS (ICE’s old name) would have kept the illegal aliens at bay and they would not have come into political power to mutate the landscape.
What y’all see in TV and internet of manics waving Mexican and Central American flags is what I and many Californians have known all along. We lost this state to illegal aliens, anchor babies and legalized illegal aliens. A travesty coming to your neighborhood.
