  1. Destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities is not a declaration of war. Only the facilities were destroyed and no civilians were attacked. Possesion of nuclear weapons must be controlled, especially by nations crying death to America. If Trump found a cure for cancer he would be accused by the left as putting doctors out of work.

  2. To actually declare war….yes
Military action against a specific site….no!

Beside this is the way war is done now…with precision airstrikes and drones.
And with the advancement of AI the need for actual boots on the ground is rapidly decreasing.

  3. This was not an act of war. Trump took away from Iran the most dangerous and deadly weapon in the world to prevent them from using it against all of the people they hate. He took away the ability of Iran to kill and destroy other countries!

  4. Congress has to declare a war against anyone. Military action or strikes are well within POTUS power, how many strikes did Obama order? Tell the squids to quit inking all over themselves.

  5. I’m for all he did Saturday! He had the fight and the right. And gee no one said anything about socialists Obama and Biden , but it’s Trump! BS. 2 different questions. Congress should be the ones to confirm about war, not taking the world destruction bombs away from warmongers.

  6. The only way that Congress can lawfully stop a President from going to war is be withholding funding (ie., the Power of the Purse). While only Congress has the power to “declare” war, “waging” war is within the purview of the Executive branch. Congress has only declared war 5 times, the last time being WWII, and we’ve waged war a lot more than 5 times.

  7. I don’t consider this waging war. There were no troops on the ground, no civilians attacked. Although I voted no, it was because this wasn’t war. This is trying to prevent war and protecting Israel and America.

  8. All above correct!

  9. War, yes! To do individual strikes that get us in and out, especially with no human casualties then that answer is a shouting, NO!

  10. Congress never declared war on Vietnam. We fought there over ten years. There was a resolution giving the president broad powers but never declared war. I recall it being g referred to as a “conflict”
