I want someone to teach Trump about Islam. Also, it would be so great to stop ALL immigration…legal & illegal…but, that will never happen. Too much money exchanging hands for the power hungry politicians. The Pastor was wonderful to listen to today. Great podcast guest!

I agree. We should have intense, rapid training necessary for people interested and pre-qualified. Don’t bring in foreigners to do it. Only exception would be training by a few foreigners on a temporary basis. Let’s have our own citizens doing these jobs!
We have far too many people on welfare and other government programs. Clean up those numbers and then see if we need more H1B visas.

Didn’t Trump say before that any company who wanted H1-B visa holders had to give each one at least $100k/yr? I’d be ok with that… on a temporary basis until that person could train an American to do the job (and certainly NOT the other way around!).
Several years ago, a local community college had gotten a grant where they offered free 2-yr technical studies either books and supplies also free. Why can’t such studies be given to fast track highly skilled people, such as in IT, chip manufacture, or whatever? No courses for all the other course material like humanities, etc. Just get down to business of learning- these H1-B “talents” could teach the classes. Seems a reasonable proposition to me.
But importing hundreds of thousands of H1-B who stay here forever, HELL NO!!!

If we’re bringing in top level talent to help and train the United States to build ships and semiconductors I don’t have a problem with it. Bringing in people to do jobs that the American people can do I am not in favor of. And I am not in favor of bringing in foreign students on visas.
DML’s interview about islamists was good, but weak. He emphasized cultural differences and such. Fine, but the real issue is the extreme danger Islam is to America! The English translation of the Koran is not at all the same as in arabic nations. American Islams are being used by the “real” ones. When those here are as many as non-Muslims, it will trigger the complete takeover of America. It’s planned! Culture matters, but it’s not the primary threat!!
We certainly don’t need any more Chinese in our country. Why? So they can spy on us like they’ve been doing in the past. If half the colleges need to close than so be it. There are too many anyway. We also need young people learning trades like plumbers auto mechanics electricians carpenters. These are all well paying jobs. Not everyone needs to go to college to get a good paying job. Just learn a trade.
