  1. It shouldn’t be a prerequisite but it doesn’t hurt the resume’ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  2. Pres. trump is proof u need not have served to b an American patriot. People that want to enlist have been rejected for many different health reasons. I say no, its not necessary.

  3. A statement was made on X by General Flynn’s son where he said it should be requirement for a presidential candidate to have children. I questioned it and he told me to unfollow him.
I question this also but it is intriguing.

  4. I used to think it should be a prerequisite but not anymore. It certainly canโ€™t hurt, unless itโ€™s a woke general like Milley! That would be a disaster!

  5. I believe like the Israelis that military service should be mandatory of all able bodied US citizens, at least 1 to 2 years, even if you are not in a combat position. Basic training would stop a lot of the stupid stuff going on in America today.

  6. I want to correct the line about George W. Bush. He flew F-106 interceptors in the National Guard. Therefore he served in uniform in the USAF. Bill Clinton evaded the draft and failed to report. He should have been punished. During the Vietnam War I had a job deferment, but I quit that one and got a draft notice. I enlisted for three ears in the US Army after the Air Force told me they were full up. So I spent a year in Vietnam, in the Air Cavalry in the Mekong Delta.
To answer the original question, NO, military service should not be a requirement but it should be a bonus if you did serve.
