Foul language is a part of life in a fabrication shop yet we know when to clean up the language in front of customers and women. Congress should be able to control their language and discuss policies instead of the shouting over one another. They are supposed to be better.
I voted yes, but I don’t like hearing swearing from anyone. It shows a lack of ……something….decency? Education? Manners? I really don’t really know what to call it.
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Cussing isn’t professional. Certain words are an absolute NO. The one starting with C and ends with T is vile. I think sh** is harmless. The F word shouldn’t be used in an employment setting but it is, trust me I worked at a law enforcement agency, it happens. I think the context in which it is used is important. I save my cussing for when I driving alone, radio on so it looks like I’m singing to a song lol. I don’t flip anyone off I just bop my head to the music and cuss! 😆. Unfortunately it’s everywhere. Try to come up with substitute words especially at work.
The Democrats use fuck in Commercials and everywhere , so now you want to know about President and VP. I call bullshit !!
I am sure no one is shocked that the anchors reporting the election results in 2016 used the Fbomb many times in disbelief that Trump was winning. That was the first time I heard that on live tv, let alone from people reporting election results. But when Trump & Vance do it….yeah always the same response from the keft.
I’m not bothered by it at all. everybody uses foul language every day. it’s part of the vocabulary. it’s okay for the left to use foul language but because our president and vice president may say something that is off color it’s disgusting. Why don’t they focus on transgender boys in girls bathrooms in school being in there naked and excuse my French jerking off. That’s not foul. Not only is it foul it’s disgusting.
I am old enough to remember a day when cussing was not allowed. It’s another one of the things that has been pushed into society as they remove religion. It is offensive, especially in certain situations, but especially in the workplace. I also hate it on tv shows. Comedy can be the worst and I turn those people off. It doesn’t add anything to the comedy to swear with every line, and actually it distracts from the comedy. But maybe those people aren’t good comedians and have to hide behind the swearing.
It’s the further denigration of our country as the morality disappears.
I think that cussing crosses the line into the broad category of “language, tone, rhetoric” and allows for a sense of “if swearing is OK, then my name calling is OK too”. Cussing is part of the slippery slope that “words do matter” takes us into.
