My son was born in 1958 and there was no big hulabaloo about his 13 lbs and it was like a 3 mo old already. I had no stroller or anything like the Cadillac strollers you see today. Practically broke my arm carting him around. Sadly we lost him last August complications of a stroke 5 yrs ago. We loved him dearly and he is missed!

In 1980, I had a roommate in the hospital who had a 13lb baby. The baby could hold his head up. It’s not uncommon.
