Yep I agree with you. Those media , the View, and opponents politicians are spewing hate speech everyday . They are the influencer.

There is a difference between consequences and being “canceled”. Being held accountable is very important for both sides. Yes people make dumb mistakes but sometimes that can lead to losing your job. Plenty of employers have rules in place and if you do things that reflect badly on your employer you should expect consequences. Cancel culture implies a more severe action than just losing your job. What is the cut off age for doing dumb things? If we do nothing, where is the lesson? The saying “don’t cut off your nose to spite your face” comes to mind. Consequences are an important lesson. You may have to find another job, that’s a consequence. We really need to go back and learn that it’s ok to have a difference of opinion. It’s okay to openly discuss those differences. It’s not ok to be violent.
There is a difference between being dumb, and being evil! Nobody got arrested for what they said! Getting fired is the consequences of representing your employer in a blasphemous way! So many comments were pure satanic! If people want to worship Satan, they are free to do so. You won’t be arrested for it, but good luck with the consequences in life,and especially the afterlife.🤷♂️
I’m now retired but I worked for two different corporations for over 40 years and they, and every company I know of, had a policy … we were “at will” employers. Meaning you could be fired for any reason and that was that. I assume that’s still in force.

There is no such thing as hate speech.
Speech is speech.
Just because you disagree that doesn’t give anyone the right to silence another.
Crossing the line into the criminal arena is a different story. That’s why we have laws.
Who gave any human the right to tell another human what they can and can not say? I certainly have no right or control over someone else’s speech, nor will I tolerate anyone trying to control or define what category they believe my speech falls into.

This is about keeping us all busy arguing with each other, getting us to choose a group and fight with the other groups on who’s right or wrong and who should should be able to say what.
