This is precisely why I don’t go
On cruises! If someone goes overboard they just leave them behind with little to no help for the people with them! I’m NOT SURPRISED AT ALL! There is a very UGLY UNDERBELLY to the cruise ship industry and most people are not aware of that fact until they are involved in an incident! Cruising the ocean is NOT SAFE AT ALL!
I’m not disagreeing with you . As a retired career Navy man, from my own experience on aircraft carriers, I will say that folks are better off on land and higher ground if the tsunami hits the ships!! Hopefully the ships have well experienced crews who know how to handle heavy seas!!
I think I would want to be on land and not on a cruise ship. Leave me behind but I’ll be sure to complain to get money back. LOL
