Also I would like to add that John Bolton who was not a fan of President Trump was with President Trump that entire trip to visit our deceased Military buried at Aisne-Marne American Cemetary. He said that President Trump NEVER REFERRED TO OUR MILITARY LIKE THAT. EVER. The trip was cancelled because of weather. IT’S CALLED BELOW LANDING LIMITS…..ceiling and visibility were too restrictive to operate safely. Trust me, we Pilots know how to check on international weather as well as world weather. The safety of the operation of Marine One was the Pilot’s decision based on current weather conditions reported and at least the previous hourly reports, not President Trumps. Current weather is reported hourly unless there is a special update. The weather had been bad all day with below landing minimums. Trust me, I already checked it when this first came up. When you have six hourly reports all below landing limits, that means you don’t go. You wait for improvement, or you cancel. I can go back years and check weather reports and forecasts so if one of these propagandists wanted to dispute me, go ahead make my day. Give me a date, time, and location and I will find it.
