I agree! News outlets saying, “they spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the plans publicly” is just as suspicious as “an anonymous source”. And probably just as false and inflammatory! If people are leaking information to the media they must be dealt with! It’s unacceptable and dangerous!
