I keep hearing that CA has strict gun control?
For law abiding citizens, it’s hell. Can only buy 1 box of ammo at a time, and for each one add either $1 (and wait 2 weeks) or $18 to wait only a couple days. I haven’t bought a firearm in years (15?) and then it was just a record search fee ($10-12?) and wait 2 weeks. Now I’d probably go on a list for buying ammo.
I’ve also heard that you can not buy any ammo for a firearm not registered to you.
Have you seen ads for the Bryna? You know, that non-lethal thing that shoots small hard balls at fast velocities (not even close to ammo) or clouds of pepper spray ? Guess what? In Kommiefornia, pepper spray is not allowed in the Bryna and the force of the ball is reduced. I looked at one recently. Asked the store owner about it against bears. He laughed. I bought a can of bear spray instead.
I don’t know personally, but I’ve heard from one reloaded that it’s hard to buy supplies like black powder.
