There should be a bill that states that all members of Congress be present first the reading of the bill. I will bet that about 75% of Congress never read it nor do they know what’s in it. They just wait for NBC or CNN to tell them what’s in the bill.
The GOP, since they have the majority, need to put in the rules that every bill must be read on the floor before debate AND every senator must attend in their chairs!

When I began reading this, and it said that Schumer demanded the reading of the bill and it took 16 hrs. I thought it was going to say that they had to pay everyone time and 1/2…no, just kidding! I know they are all salaried! Then when they mentioned the camera panned the room, I thought we were going to see half of Congress sleeping like we’ve seen before! I was amazed to hear that half of them weren’t even there!!! How the hell do they get away with NOT even being there??? I assumed that was a requirement as it’s what they get paid for and is part of their job, but apparently NOT??? WTF??? WHO the hell makes up these rules??? Also, I think they should HAVE to read the bills they are passing OUT LOUD and yes, that they should ALL have to be THERE for it!!! We need fundamental change in Congress immediately!!! This is ridiculous!!!
Claude, G, and BaeBae, if memory serves me right (but I could be wrong) I believe I remember reading a couple of years back that Schumer’s daughter is gay so that’s probably why he attends the Gay parades! But seriously it would NOT surprise me at all if Schumer, himself, were gay!!! He is a total dork so it seems logical! LOL! 😂
