Someone neutral needs to be there just so both sides are reported accurately. You get to see if either is just saying what you want to hear when they talk to you or they’re just playing along to stall the end
President Trump needs to be there as a broker for peace. He’s a negotiator and can keep things on track. Those two men would rather kill eachother.
