  1. We live in NW Georgia but, my husband & all his family are from Burnsville/ Spruce Pine area. His brother, Jeff, is retired Military & has been working around the clock trying to help those trapped & in need. We weren’t able to reach anyone the first day but finally Jeff was able to reach out & assure us that family was ok. It is catastrophic damage. No power, no water, no way of communication. Roads are washed out, land/rock slides everywhere! There is literally no way in or out. My husband wants to go & help like so many others, but can’t πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’” PLEASE keep them in your prayers! You just never expect the mountains would be decimated by a flood & aren’t equipped to handle it.

  2. No one is talking about Augusta, GA. They had bunch of trees and power lines down. About 95% electricity is out there. The water tower is/has run out of water. My daughter lives there in town and her and her two young daughters are staying with us in SC until things improve.

  3. Such devastation is so unimaginable, those people in all those towns I feel their heartaches in hoping they will get their homes & businesses back, but it will take lots of time, money & faith. Prayers to all those families in those states that were affected by this horrible storm Helene. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
