Wow-amazing discovery! As an archaeologist I find this fascinating, especially that burials from over 100 yr gap were in the generally same place.
I don’t know regs outside of the U.S., but if they are at all similar elsewhere, that road construction will be held up for the duration! (Bodies must be exhumed under preservation techniques -we are talking dental picks to aid in remains removal, special handling of grave goods). Then a rebuttal location must be determined and most likely descendants be contacted. The cost for all this can be enormous!
