He was not unruly. He was exercising his first amendment rights. The “officers” demonstrated their severe lack of knowledge and training in how to handle the simple task of having a protester comply with their goal of removing him from the hearing. In my 35 years of law enforcement experience, this was a colossal failure on the part of these “officers” who are in need of serious training. Professionalism and politeness, which never occurred here, will work 99% of the time. This mole hill became an unnecessary mountain.
