I just watched Wine & Talk and liked the discussion on movies and stars, you gave many very good mentions, Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson etc.. You only went back so far in the age of Hollywood stars which made it somewhat hard to really find great stars. I watch a lot of older movies because too much Woke or politically correct crap in today’s movies, compared to older movies. I wasn’t even born yet when some great actors were stars. Clark Gable, Elizabeth Taylor, Spencer Tracy, Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, now they were real Actors. Not many today can come close. Gone With The Wind, 1939, The Ten Commandments, Casablanca, spectacular movies all before I was born yet fantastic to watch even today. It’s such a shame that the actors of today care so little about what they do, it’s no wonder most movies today are not worth watching. Today it’s all about Woke, Money and politics. The only movie I wasted my time to see is Top Gun Maverick, still waiting for something else good to come along.I hear Disney may finally have something worth while, we will see.
