First of all I’m not impressed that he’s a hunter. And hunting Falcons …why?! Second the idea that he wanted to eat ithe bear seems weird. Finally why dump it in Central Park knowing it would become a story for the media. Just a weird thing to do. He should have called the proper authorities at the time. I wonder who came forward with the story and when it actually happened? Was it recently or years ago?!

The bear was already dead sadly and I’m sure the state has laws like California. We hit a big bear near Mt.Shasta one night with a full moon out. We just got the bear out of the road. And the only thing we talked about were the claws. And my husband was a hunter too. Wrecked the front of the car too. We were kinda in shock. And we weren’t famous. Just reported it to the CHP and found a motel.
Who would even think about leaving a dead decaying bear in the back of your vehicle. It was a van, not a pickup truck with an open bed. I cannot imagine the smell of a dead animal in a vehicle, then locking the vehicle up for the day, then driving to the airport to take a flight. This story does not make sense.
Well this honestly sounds like a story my friends would have told. They hynt and has bear meet and skin in their freezer. And have said before about getting fresh road kill like a deer before. Because it is wasteful to not use the meet( they hit the deer)
I actually believe what he said cause yep people do actually do that.
Why he dumped it in central park I don’t know. A joke?
Falcon hunting is not killing falcons. They are trained to catch prey and return it to you..
