I believe it. I flew into that airport at least 9 times 20+ yrs ago. On 1 flight just as we were about to touch wheels, it was full throttle up and we took off and circled around for another landing.
The pilot got in the intercom and told us another plane was still on the runway. It could have been very bad. Quick thinking of the pilot brought us down safely.
Sadly, the blame is already starting, saying it’s President Trump’s fault, as if the staff shortages and this dangerous flying patterns with helicopters are something brand new in the past 10 days.
