  1. So is the sheriff’s life supposed to stop every time a crime is being investigated? Perhaps one of his children or grandchildren was playing in that game and he wanted to be there (don’t know just speculating a possibility). No doubt he was reachable and could have left immediately if new info required his presence.

  2. I agree with above! The guy is allowed to have time off and use it as he wishes! Is he supposed to be on duty for 24/7? I think not. As Paige stated, he most likely is reachable if his presence is required.

  3. Hmmm, this entire thing stinks. Check out her facebook for a reality check. Another gaslighting bull💩 distraction and the 24/7 coverage is suspect to me.

  4. The sheriff is allowed a personal life. He needs some downtime. I’m sure the police department knew where to reach him if necessary. People need to mind their own business.

  5. I agree with the above but also, this is another distraction to other things going on right now. Such as, the Clintons being interrogated in Congress and all the fraud going on in Minnesota, California, and other states. Look and see what else is going on!! 🤓🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

  6. Totally agree with all the above. Going to a game does not stop the investigation. Just numbs the reality a little bit. prayers are still being said.

  7. I’m so glad to see these comments. They reflect my own.
I’m sure if there was a break in the case he would be available.
This sheriff is under scrutiny that is unfair because of the high profile nature of this case

  8. People watch to much crime TV fiction shows. They portray officers up for days to solve crimes, sleeping on couches in their offices because they are such dedicated public servants.

  9. The Sheriff has a life too. Besides it looks like the FBI has pretty much taken the case over. I realize Savannah is a celebrity of sorts but why the non-stop reporting ad nauseam. And yes, it’s very sad and tragic, but there are thousands of other missing people, including innocent children, who rarely get any coverage. I truly hope she is found safe and sound soon.
