  1. Wow!!! I’m a native of Los Angeles. This is just heartbreaking that he would do this. We get these sickos who love it when we have high winds and they set fires!!!! We didn’t have our usual rainy season in January to put that fire completely out.

Throw the key away on him. It wasn’t only “rich” people who lived there. Lots of multigenerational homes passed down for decades. Will Rogers’ home burned up. A part of history!

  2. I have a question. If he set the initial firer and should be held responsible. Isn’t it the fault of the city for not making sure it was completely out? I’m not trying to give him an out but it sparked up again after a week. There is blame to be shared

    • Agree with you 100%. The powers that be know what they want for an end result and that end justifies the means to them and they just find someone to pin it on, create the story and drill it into us. Didn’t take them long to plan the low income housing projects and slow walk any permits that don’t fit the agenda. Same with Lahaina.

  3. Arsonists are hard to spot. They love the Santa Ana winds. I’m sure he has some history that will soon be discovered. This doesn’t let the governor of Ca off the hook. He made a series of mistakes that contributed to all the destruction. Harsher punishments is also needed.

***I think when the winds kick up in Ca there should be Arson teams that patrol vulnerable areas. I think all registered arsonists should be required to check in with law enforcement. If they don’t track them down. It sounds monumental but something needs to be done. ***
